When you get married in Butte, there are only a few places to host your dream wedding.  For Shelly and Ryan, the Original Mine yard was their perfect setting.  Old, storytelling, and possibly the best view in town for a backdrop to say “I Do”.  With all of the beautiful decorations, and yummy treats how could you go wrong dancing with the love of your life under a gallus frame on a hot July night?

Now, I have personally known Shelly for about 7 years…..(wow time goes fast).  Being in the industry of making people look and feel beautiful it was like we were bound to be friends.  Owning your own business isn’t for the faint of heart and when you love what you do, it makes all the hard work worth it ( the late nights,Saturdays, and did I mention a lack of a personal life). I have seen this driven women build a business from the ground up and become possibly the best makeup artist I have ever worked with.  Driven, and always willing to put in the extra work to make someone feel beautiful, she sets the bar very high.  With the bar set SO high, I have wondered “who would be the man, to steal her heart and sweep her off her feet?”  Well, a few years ago I started hearing Shelly chat here and there about this Ryan guy.   Then the conversations became more and more and I started hearing his name all the time.  I always thought “who is this Ryan guy? what is he like?”  Well, to put it simply he is the man who rode in and stole Shelly’s heart.  Now from that description you probably are thinking this macho man…maybe a Fabio, But you couldn’t be further from the truth…..(Ryan has short brown hair very not Fabioish haha)  Ryan is the guy who is so polite and quiet at first, and just a few moments of talking with him you can feel his truth.  He is the man who will surprise Shelly with a dinner date, kiss her for no reason at all (other than he wanted to), he will be the man who will hold her tight when she needs that hug after a frustrating day, and build her custom furniture that makes the Pintrest versions a joke.  (Seriously, Shelly is this guy for real?)

Shelly, my heart is so happy you found the one.  You never have settled in any aspect of your life and it has brought you to some of the best years of your life.  I can’t wait to see where life takes you both.  So happy for you!
