I was so excited when Mandi and Bud called me to photograph their very special wedding that was this past September. Wow, how does the time fly! Although they were in Texas most of the time, I was so lucky to be able to meet them a couple times and get to know them. Mandi, I honestly do not know if anyone could be any sweeter of a person. You are so calm, relaxed, yet have a spunkiness that is so cute when you get excited. It was really fun to work with you and your lovely friends and family. You all are so kind and sweet (the sweeetness must run in the family). I also can not believe that your mom took so much detail in all the decorating. Simply stunning. I loved all the copper accents with the elegance of the hall. I was amazed by not only how creative she was but by how much time probably went into all of it!
And Bud, I will never ever forget how Father says your name lol. (I swear you probably had to be there, but with father’s Irish accent he made Bud’s name sound way cool). I couldn’t help but think of that movie the Princess Bride whenever he said your name :). Anyways, I just wanted to say that it was so fun to work with you again. I always love getting to photograph people I have already worked with. Your family is a hoot, they are so fun. I see you also got your dance moves from your mom. LOVE LOVE LOVED that you two can dance really good. Now wonder why Mandi married you :). I wish my husband could dance, (maybe someday you will have to give him lessons lol).
I know that this is getting kinda long but, I really just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only having me as your wedding photographer, but also making my job so meaningful. I loved every bit of your day and I think my favorite part was the ceremony. You two have a long beautiful marriage ahead of you, and every step will be worth it. Enjoy it all, because sometimes, it is those trying times and hard times that make the good times so meaningful and precious. I am excited for you two, and excited to see where this life takes you! Thank you again!
