We all thought the day would never come, but thank God John FINALLY asked Karen to marry him, and I think we all were on pins and needles hoping she would say “yes” :). After 8 years and 8 months, the big day finally took place. Fairmont Montana was as beautiful as ever for their vows. I was hoping and praying that it wouldn’t rain (because of course, the weather man said it would), and the day was beautiful…..we watched the rain clouds pass right on by not even threatening our celebration. John, you have always been so sweet and are you ever not smiling? I think every time I see you, there is a big smile on your face. I am so so soo glad that you found the gal of your dreams (she even likes the llamas, now that’s a keeper). Karen, I am not going to lie, when we first met I really wondered if you knew how to talk. I kept hearing about this “Silent Karen”, and one day on the river I think I got about 5 words from ya. But in the past couple years, I have really gotten a chance to know you and I am happy to know the real Karen. You are sweet, actually really outgoing, and always up for all my crazy ideas. (even if it means doing clothing changes in random fields with a creepy Shep dog watching).
I am so happy for you both and truly thankful you included me in on your special day. You are so awesome and someday maybe I can pet your llamas 🙂
