Jordan & Tawni
You know those super nice people that would go out of their way to help anyone? Even a young desperate photographer who was adamant about getting a 1886 piano out of an impossible basement into her new uptown Butte Studio. Well, those super nice people happen to be the Ed, Jordan and Jess Tracy. Who would have thought 5 years later I would be photographing Jordan Tracy’s wedding?
This is coincidentally my 9th year photographing weddings. Just to think that 9 years ago when I was photographing my first wedding season, Jordan and Tawni started dating.
I never get to spend a ton of time getting to know my clients. Usually, just the couple hours from the engagement session and the wedding planning. Then, before you know it, I am photographing some of their most precious moments. Moments of excitement, moments of Lakelyn soaking up all the attention, the moment Jordan and Tawni said “I do”, the really sneaky moments where Tawni surprised Jordan with Red Sox tickets…and of course, the moment Jordan cried when he realized they were Red Sox tickets.
As a photographer, I am the one who gets to capture all of these precious, unforgettable moments so this wonderful couple can always treasure them.
Photographing so many weddings, I see a lot of unique things. Tawni and Jordan’s wedding was, for sure, a one-of-a-kind. I love how upon arriving to photograph the men getting ready, Ed was trying really hard to hold back the tears, or when Lakelyn was so excited to be a part of when her daddy saw her mommy for the first time that day. I so loved how everyone involved in this wedding was so genuinely happy.
Tawni and Jordan, keep all these people around you. I could not have said it better than Kelly (maid of honor), “It’s not everyday that you get to marry your high school sweetheart, so hold on to each other”.
Here is to a lifetime of happiness…….50 years from now you two will still be madly in love with each other and, more importantly, the Red Soxs! ☺
Thank you for a beautiful love to photograph.
